How I Work With Clients for Cat and Dog Sitting in

Central Phoenix

🐾 First Time Clients For Pet Sitting Services Must Contact Me Through the Rover App 🐾

Ronnie Mickle offer's Pet Sitting Services in Central Phoenix Arizona within the Melrose District and Near by areas.

Hi Friend!

My name is Ronnie Mickle, and I have been offering pet-sitting services in the Central Phoenix area for the past 10 years. I am available for drop-in visits for dogs, cats, birds, and a variety of furry friends.

Please note: at this time, I do not work with dogs larger than 35-40 lbs or aggressive breeds. However, I am a part of a network of professional Pet Sitters and can always refer you to an ideal fit.

I do have two small pups of my own, so I do not offer overnight visits for sitting at your home and only allow pets to stay with me at my home. My only request is that you provide proof of vaccinations for your pets who stay overnight and I'll be happy to provide you the same consideration.

For overnight visits I will respect your wishes on how to care for your pet whether that means kenneling or allowing to roam free. I will also ensure that to feed your pet according to your specific wishes. Most importantly, I will provide them the love, attention, and exercise need to feel like they are on a 5-star pet vacation while you are away.

We Must Conduct Initial Meet and Greet With You and Your Pet(s)

As a dedicated, and serious pet-sitter, I must perform a meet and greet prior to ever working together. I am generally always available for emergency situations; however,

I can only provide emergency services to existing clients whom I've had a meet and greet with and we know that we, and your pet and I, are a mutual fit.

Meet and Greets generally take between 45 minutes to 1 Hour and I do require you to fill out an online in-take form located here.

Initial meet and greets are billed at $25 and are not refundable if for any reason it is not a mutual fit. This is to cover my time and travel to meet with you and you pet.

I highly recommend if you are perusing the Internet in search of a Pet Sitter that you insist upon a meet and greet before you turn your furry pets over to someone. I have only had one negative experience hiring a Pet Sitter myself which involved someone throwing a party at my home while I was gone- the sad thing about it was I had used a close friend's son. I didn't think I needed a background check because I was hiring someone I knew. During your meet and greets you should always ask for a background check and client references- which I always provide to my clients.

Frequently Asked Questions About My Pet Sitting Services in

Central Phoenix

  • My primary service area is immediately in the 85013-zip code of Central Phoenix, or Melrose District. However, I do services nearby zip codes such as 85012 and 85014. My rates for pet sitting in the Central Phoenix are start at $18 to $25 per drop in visit and $59 for overnight care and are dependent upon the following factors:

    • Distance to your home for Pet Sitting

    • The type of Pet You Need Sitter Services For

      • Cats are generally less expensive as they often require less attention

      • Kittens and Puppies

    • Specific needs for your pet (how much time is needed)

    • Consistent bookings factor in on price breaks for Pet Sitting Services

    • The time of day, and if you book on holidays, may affect your pet sitting rates

  • This is a very good question and I'm certainly happy you asked. My full-time career as a Notary Public requires that I obtain a National Background Check annually. I am happy to provide this annual background check upon request as well as verification from the National Notary Association the background check is valid.

If you are booking me through Rover.com (an app that I also work on) I am required to take their background check to be listed within the app.

Now, for your pets that I'd be sitting - I listen to you and follow your instructions explicitly for every visit. I do understand that no one knows your pet better than you and your input will be taken extremely seriously.

  • After we've conducted our first Meet and Greet for Pet Sitting services and you've decided I'd be a good fit for your pet sitting needs in the central Phoenix area. You can schedule with me via text or email by making a request. I am typically very responsive to both text and emails.

I do always appreciate as much notice as possible. However, part of the meet and greet is to ensure that I'm prepared for emergency situations that may arise when you may need a pet sitter, even same day.

  • This depends on the service, your pet’s care instructions, and your pet:

A typical drop-in or overnight stay includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, and playtime. I know pets thrive on familiar routines, so I try to make maintain your pet’s daily rituals—whether they like company during dinnertime or require a minimum number of ball throws before bed.

I can also provide additional services such as watering plants, checking the mail, and package retrieval while you are on vacation.

  • I have worked as a Pet Sitter for just over a decade. I've also hired them too!

I know that things can happen and schedules don't always align. Which is why I am partnered with several professional Pet Sitters who share a similar service. If I am not available, I will provide you references to professional pet sitters I would trust with my own pets.
